If you were communicating with a friend via texting and Instagram DMs, why ignore the text messages?

Some people are busy. Some people like to not respond to act like they are busy. Some people don’t respond because they don’t really like you. Regardless of the reason I try not to put too much stock in the having long conversations over technology. There isn’t normally much intimacy there anyway (to me at least).
