I'm not an a-hole, I'm not going to say anything to her face and she's not even my family so it's ultimately none of my business, but should you be congratulating a 17 year old on their pregnancy?

I find myself in dilemmas like this sometimes. It's like I don't wanna encourage the behavior but it's too late now so maybe I should say something nice... "Uhhh... Umm. I like your socks!"
Hmm, I honestly don't know. I guess at the end of the day, a baby is a baby and it she chooses to keep it, then it's her bundle or joy, which means congratulating her irregardless of your disapproval.
If she is happy about it then yes. If not, just don't say anything. What works for you may not work for all.
I'd personally only do that if she seemed like she knew what she was doing and would be a good mother.

She ruined her life. God, it's scary. She will not enjoy her teenage life, will not go to university. And he will not be able to choose the best boyfriend. The horror... I will always be grateful to my mother for her words "The pain in the anus after sex is always less than the pain during childbirth." I think that having vaginal sex before the age of 18 is completely crazy. Here's the plague, you need to work on the spread of anal sex among teenagers in your country. In my country the most girls understand it. No one pregnancy in high school , just many sore asses. I think this is very cool. Condoms and pills do not give a 100% guarantee. Especially if the guy is young and inexperienced, the condom can simply fly off. Do not use pills. Pills are even more unreliable. And abortions are extremely dangerous for the body and are super painful.
I don't even know her, but I am already wishing her and the baby, the very best, but that's just me... I'm not an a-hole either.
It depends on the circumstances but in her case it sounds like she wanted a baby so yes congratulations are in order 😊
