What Guys Said
I wish I could be a stay at home dad, but it's not currently an option for me. If i can support my family to the point my future partner can stay at home with our child (ren) and they want to, then absolutely!
I totally disagree with his statement. Being a stay-at-home mom is one of the most important jobs there is.
There's nothing wrong with that is better back in some cases it's just a very beautiful thing I think it's good
That would be good. In former times it was the standard. And the government should help the families to make this possible.
I am cool with it. Better to raise your own kids then somebody else. It's especially good for the kids until they start school.
I'd like it tbh. Not sure if it'd be economically pheasible.
I would be fine with it, as long as she understood that my paycheck wouldn’t go as far for us as two incomes. It would also show me that she is invested in our family’s wellbeing.
I would ask if thats what she aspired to be. If so, sure.
I didn't have a problem with it, and was happy to have my son spend quality time with his Mom. When Covid hit, I lost my job and she got an incredible job offer. So now I'm a stay at home Dad... and everyone is happy.
I would rather she stay at home because when she is out and about alone with male coworkers sexual funny business takes place but alas i will be poor and if a woman comes around she will have to work so we can live
I have no problem of you staying at home if that is what you like.
Don't expect not to pay your half of the bills.
I’m open to it. 👍 We would just have to make sure we’re financially secure first 💰.
It would depend on my salary and if we can comfortably sustain the family on my own. In today's economy I don't have that much confidence.
That would be fine with me. I would be happy to know that that was where her head is at so I could plan things better in the long term.
i'd tell her "there's no way i can afford this lifestyle right now, but maybe in the future" and let her have the opportunity to leave if she can't accept this
i think what she chooses to do is okay with me, staying at home during the first few years may be okay babies do that time to connect with the mother i think. after that, i would say she can work and i would hope she works too.
It depends if I can financially provide (I'm still a student), but to be honest it's a good thing.
The japanese way I'd say. If she is okay then nothing wrong.
My wife stayed home with our kids for 11 years. We did not want strangers to take care of them.
If it were you I'd stay home with you and we could have sex all day
My wife did when our first was born and stayed that way until the day she died.
I don’t care which of us is a bread winner so long as we have a good enough income for a happy life with each other and our kids.
That guy you spoke to is a fucking retard, Home running is a full time job and I would be glad to have some one like that in my life.
Don't take it very bad but you might be the retarded type if you compare it to a full time job. Or something is really wrong with your home 😗
@K-I-S-S Talking from a guy who claims that human body fat Evaporates. Shit was a fuck load better when the Standard Nuclear Family was around.
I guess you forgot to read one line more when i even state it was a joke, not that it really needs clarification, kind of obvious.
Things might have been better, but still house doesn't need that much work daily, i mean a house that is not "broken" in some way
@K-I-S-S It's more than just house work, that I can assure you.
I am searching for a woman who is family orientated. I am all for a woman who stays at home to raise her children.
Home makers are the ideal women. Usually only broke men and passive men want a woman to work.
Since I don't plan on having kids and I will probably work from home, I don't think it's an issue that I need to consider
I would be contented... i had already prepared a speech to ask her to stay at home but it’s already what she wants
If I earned enough money I would be okay with it but if I didn't I would tell her wouldn't be able to afford it.
I'd be like, "Okay... What's your work-from-home job going to be?"
that would be my reply if i was ok with having kids, instead my reply would be to break up with her.
I would love to be able to solely provide for us but due to my poor career decisions we would struggle without two incomes. 😔
If I made enough money for it, sure it wouldn't be a problem.
