Hey I don't think anything negative about you. It's not like I don't have any friends at all. It's just that I'm not particularly close to anyone or hang out with anyone regularly outside of my family. Even when I ask friends to hang out there's a reason why either they can't or I have to wait a while (too busy, not geographically convenient, no money, etc). It's hard to find true and lasting friendships. That's why I believe friends come and go.
If I was dating a guy and I found out he doesn't have any close friends or he just has acquaintances it wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me. I'm introverted and I would understand why he doesn't have any for a legitimate reason like yours or something else. Besides I think the only people who really care about you or who you can rely on are the best of friends, friends who are really good to you, and family. You're not alone and there's NOTHING wrong you. I hope this makes you feel better. Sorry this is so long
Thank you :)
It's not easy to find quality people, and those with whom you are compatible, and have timing, circumstance, geography, and luck be on your side.
A person could also be shy to the point of extreme social anxiety; or be a closed-minded person who cannot adapt to others.
There are so many reasons. But don't worry so much about what other people think... when/if you, yourself, are being kind and civil to others. That's all that really matters in the end.

I don't like to assume things, I very much rather to talk about things and then actually know what happened or what's going on... moreso if I learn this because has been confided to me, I want to listen and get to understanding... and not just assume and jump to conclusions on my own.
I just heard that 4 out of 5 older men do not have even one close friend. I have been too busy for friends over the last 20 years and as a result I do not have many friends anymore. Some have died and some have moved away. The older you get, the harder it is to make friends.

So no one told you life would move on this way
Your job's a joke, you're broke
Your friends are MIA
It's like your player 2 is never here
Because they all got married, had kids, bought homes
Or furthered their career, and
I'd be there for you,
But now the rain started to pour.
I'd be there for you,
But I was just recently there before
I'd be there for you,
But I really don't want toooooo

(I'm teasing! Love ya! ā¤)
Lol thanks š
@ez-bri-z well... you made me clap, and my brother knew what it meant... lol
I did sing lol

I don't make any assumptions, because I've been in the same boat in the past, so I kinda understand them..
Plus it is impossible to judge a person when you donāt have any knowledge of the whole story, or their motivations. You can judge their appearance, their clothes, their skin color, their sex... etc. by comparing them to your preconceived notions of those things but you're not judging the person. You don't know what kind of life they've lived that got them to the point where you think you have the right to judge them.
I am one of the people that don't have irl friends since making friends is hard for me and the majority of them are fake so all the friends I keep usually end up moving or living far away and I dont have the ability to make friends well but the friends I have are amazing and actually value my friendship and help
I don't think I have the right to assume anything, I have tons of friends, yet sometimes i feel lonely, and friends don't make you for who you really are. Most of them are easy come easy go. To be honest, now that i'm on my 30s i consider them more as a "PASSING TIME" when back then they where my FAMILY.
I think it's normal and nothing tragic.
Oh and virtually speaking, you have me as a friend
<3
Thank you dear :)
Must be lonely, but I can relate. I have one friend irl and other best friend online (he lives in a different country lol) I have anxiety, people in my school used to call me a ānerdyā now they donāt, but eh, I still have a hard time trying to talk to people irl
yeah i get it. well you have your online friends haha
lol, yeah, I do, and theyāre way better than people Iāve come across irl lol
I would assume that there was a good reason for them to not have irl friends. However, I wouldn't stay away from them, I would try to find out the reasons.
Sometimes I feel that we could be friends if we met in real life. 🤗🤗🤗
Yes me too :)
Sounds very lonely. And like covid probably made it worse. I hope you can find some peeps to hang out with. :)
Hope so. Ill likely checkout meetup. com again soon
I found some awesome mom friends and friends for my kids on meetup. com!
I would say, they may be busy or broke, I reject over 90% of invitations because my time and money and energy is limited so I have no choice but to reject friends sometimes, and it has nothing to do with us not liking each other.
Iām sure itās very lonely. I wouldnāt have too many assumptions about it tough. We all go through phases of change in life. Hopefully itās not like that forever.
That theyāre lonely, and came to the internet to be less lonely.
I did :)
Friend:)
Where did I find this person in the first place?
Do you mean like people that spend their time playing online games and thatās how to make friends since they never leave their house?
gaming dweebs. Yeah theyāre kinda cool. I donāt think Iād feel about sorta way. Not everyone wants to be with people irl.
Voted G.. There could be any reason someone doesn't have a lot of friends... In my case, a lot have died.. I meet new people and we're friendly and people at work like me but it's not the same😔
None, I just think they are at a point in their life where their previous friends moved on or got married and faded. I have one friend now and I won't be pushing for anything, if I find someone around by random then I'll make friends otherwise becareful who you find online. A gym is a good way to make friends you just go up to a guy or girl and say hi
I'd say ur normal. Most people do t have many friends as in this day n age there's not much time for people if you want to get a full night's rest and actually relax after work or on your day off.
What they do, outside of interactions with me or about me, is none of my business
I could relate i guess nowadays itās hard to find a long lasting friendship in real life
I think the reason why I don't have many IRL friends is simply I'm a homebody person and that is me I guess if I found more friends online I could make them IRL friends
I would never assume anything. I don't judge a book by the cover. I like to meet people, talk with them, get to know them better. Find out what their personalities are like.
They either prefer it that way, or they need to get out more
They are either complete jerks;
or they have a very interesting life that does not require (many) ''friends''.
I'm one of both, I guess :D
That there probably better than other people. And can relate.
I tend to be drawn to people like that. I guess I'm just really friendly; I don't know.
Well I first my mind goes pale and flops over like when dinosaurs die in JWE. My second thought is, ābut they also could be like Tristanā.
They might be shy or it might just be circumstance
I don't have any irl friends either :(
This is me; and I am lonely.
