I've been in a relationship with a woman who has lots of friends, but she's a lying, manipulative, two-faced narcissist who tells people what they want to hear. She uses people, and gossips constantly to get information to control what others say about her.
To be honest, the woman I was with who had very few friends was very attentive and intense to have a relationship with. The connection was deeper with her because she became emotionally dependent on me in a way. I guess I like dating women who have less of a posse to dictate her life.

Even though there’s nothing wrong with not having friends, It’s a Potential red flag... person could be too difficult to deal with or too mean to have friends

Speaking from my experience, these kind of people teach me about what kind of people i should stay away from. because they are exactly the right sample of them. im not saying that people who dont have any friends are ALL bad people, but in my case, their personality is garbage

Depending on what I previously know about the person. I either think they're dissing on the handful of relationships they simply don't put effort into, that they're just being edgy, or that they are genuinely lonely.
