What makes you find a person boring?

What do they have to do to make you think, "God, this person is really boring 😣"?

Honestly nothing much. I am open minded to how other's act even tho i am also not. But in the way i am, is for example someone i know she don't speak much at all so i talk at her pretty much about things.
But she likes that. I don't find her boring because i like to talk about what i like but it's also not like i wouldn't listen if she did say something she just don't like to much or finds herself to be boring.
Most people won't talk to her cause they would find her boring. But i am okay with it.
So i don't think i find people boring. I just like them or don't like them for other reasons.

If they don't know how to have a conversation. Like, if you say "I went hiking in such-and-such Valley last week", they won't capitalize on that, or explore it. They'll just be like "oh, cool", or change the subject abruptly. People are boring who don't pay attention, who can't go with the flow and who have led cowardly lives.

Usually, if they don’t really engage with me during conversations. I can automatically tell if someone is more reserved or stand-off ish with me and that just makes the interaction boring, awkward, etc. Also, if someone doesn’t seem to have any depth to them, where they only talk about the most mundane and surface level things like “hey, it’s a pretty good sky we have today right?” I like someone who expresses emotion, someone who talks about philosophy, etc.

Try to pretend to be the smartest person in the world about every topic.
Just talk about politics all the time.
Think they opinion is facts.
Try to tell others how to live their life like they know more what that person wants and needs.
Oh and someone who thinks all i wanna do is talk about sex all the time.

Hmm.. I feel what is assumed as a “boring person” is just someone who sticks to what is safe. They’ve probably been hurt and want to prevent more. It doesn’t really make them boring, just stuck in gear. They need someone or something to shake them out of it. I find it more of a challenge than taking it personally. Even if you get them to smile it’s something. Of all the things you could have wrong with you, boring scores, as it’s something you can change.

nothing does... people are not boring to me

to me it's different... either they engage with me and I'll find what's interesting about them (sometimes sooner, sometimes later)

or, they just won't want to engage with me, and they guard, they close and just won't reach... and then I sure won't be trying because they just don't want to for whatever reason, but that's not me finding them boring, is just me realizing they don't want to connect and then we just don't... lol
