Would you trust your 15 year old daughter to hang out over a boys house?

Question

My best friend wanted me to hang over their house cause they have a trampoline and we were going to watch movies with a projector, camp outside and etc.

We haven’t hung out in years :( but now we’re both fully vaccinated so we wanted to hang out. But my mom doesn’t trust me and probably assumes we’re going to fuck?

I’m not attracted to him and he’s not attracted to me, so how do I gain my moms trust so she lets me hang out?

She also knows his parents already, since I’ve been friend with them since middle school *

I understand your mom's philosophy on this. And I agree with her. *BUT* I look at it as if you were my daughter. And if you are going to fuck your going to fuck whether it's there after school at your girlfriend's house and I can't stop you from that. But at the same time I would hope that raising you give you a good foundation so I would have to trust you and I would say go ahead you can go to your friend's house but you can't spend the night. That if he wanted to come over here you guys could do the same thing I would let that happen and the reason I would do all this is because I do have trust in you and I would know that you would do the right things you would make the right choices your mom can't ground you or put you on restriction for the rest of your life she needs to let go and trust you taking that trust away from you is totally wrong and it will make you start questioning a lot of things but I'm not your mom and you're her daughter she's your mother and what she says is the law for now. And I know you understand where she's coming from

Yes I let her but I trust her a lot.

that being said I do like to know who exactly she is with.

At the moment it’s a bit odd as I know the people in the village and she does not, so I tend to get asked if it’s okay to ask her.

I hold by the thing of its better to let someone learn while living at home, than when at college / university with no parental support.

Being paranoid about your kids does neither of you any good.

Be absolutely honest and sincere. With parents it’s actions that are judged. If you create a base of trust you’ll be allowed to do more things like this. She probably trust the boy less than you, but she doesn’t trust you enough to let you go. Just work on that. It will help with the next thing you want to do later on. Trust is a powerful thing, with parents and partners, as you get older.

If I had a child, probably not. It's because I get really protective sometimes, and I've been told and taught never to go to a boys house alone because he might do something to you, but that isn't always true. If your not attracted to each other then it's fine, your mom is probably just looking out for you sometimes. I know it can be hard tho.

I would probably have to go to the house with her to make sure she stay safe, the thing is mostly your mom is just worried for you. Because she knows remember your mom were also your age at one time so she probably understand that you want to hang out with your guy friend but truthfully most parents tend to be worry about girls. The reason why unfortunately some teen girls get kidnapped or sexually exploitative, but if I can trust my little girl to know about safety, I probably wouldn't mind it but if I only I meet the parents first. I don't want to hear about little girl getting pregnant, I want her to fully enjoy her childhood, she got the rest of her life to start thinking about sex when she becomes an adult.

I'm not a dad. If I was, I would probably be suspicious. I know when I was a teen, I was always thinking about girls and wanting to do naughty things with them. I think you should have your mom talk to his mom on the phone to make sure that his mom will be there supervising. If your mom refuses to do that, she is a helicopter parent. Sorry, the situation sucks. You could ask your mom if he could come over to hang out while she is there. You would keep any doors open while he was there.
