His jealous girlfriend tries to end our friendship

Ok so I have this guy friend, we have known each other for some time now. And we are very close I tell him everything and he tells me everything. We have been there for each other through dark times in our lives. Anyway we used to talk a lot but not so much for a couple months now since he works alot. I wrote him a message on Facebook and he replied and started a convo over the chat, and I said I missed him and he said he missed me plenty and he was so happy to talk to me again, and we talked like we always have talked to each other a lot of jokes and goofing around. And since he is on a vacation in europe he told me he didn't know when he would get to a computer the next time but we would talk when he got to one or when he got home. So the next day he was online and I said hey and he started talking, but it wasn't him cause he's said things I already knew about him and he didn't knew things about me he knows, like I talked to someone I didn't know, so I think it was his girlfriend. and I wrote it doesn't feel like its really you I'm talking to and I got back that he was down and would be normal soon again, but I have been with him when was really really depressed and he was never cold to me, like in this convo. So many hours later he is back online and I say are you back again? and I get a reply saying are you obsessed with me or something? and I write back huh? and no reply back and then I get a message saying hey I have a girlfriend and I shouldn't be talking to you I made a mistake. And we are no longer fb friends. So I think and know its his girlfriend, cause he wouldn't do this. I know he has a thing for me and he broke up with his ex all of a sudden when we hung out alot. what do you think of this and what should I do? cause I don't wanna lose a great friend.

First of all, you need to stop stalking this other girl's boyfriend, because that's exactly what you're doing. If he wanted a relationship with you, he'd pursue that. If anything he's kind of creepy because he's trying to have it both ways. He's being unfaithful to his girlfriend by two timing with you. do yourself a favor and find somebody that you can be exclusive with.

he knows I don't want a relationship, so no one is two timing anyone. I'm not trying to steal him away from his girlfriend. I wouldn't dream of it. A friend is always a friend with a girlfriend or no girlfriend. So do you stop talking to your male friends when they are dating someone?

in this scenario you guys are a little bit too close, so she has every reason to be pissed.

but she doesn't have the right to make the decitions for him and do this behind his back, you can't control another person. And if she feels I'm a threat then she should look at her relationship and and find out what the problem is. Cause its not really me, even if I went after him(which I'm not) she should be comfortable enough to trust him.

i never said it was you. I think it's his fault. he's the one whose maintaining a very close relationship with you, while pursuing this other girl.

i don't see why he should be any different to me, I was there before she was. you can't just cut your friends loose because you are in a relationship

there is no such thing as an innocent friendly relationship between guys and girls.. I think he's keeping you on the side while using this other girl.

i don't know, all I know is she has no right to butt in, cause she doesn't know me even. If he wanted to end it he is allowed to but she isnt, she can only end her own friendships

Tell your friend about his girlfriend, and tell his girlfriend that you too are just friends and nothing more and I would like to be your friend too.

i don't want to have anything to do with her, not after this, I haven't done a thing to her and she disrespect me like this. I never wanted to take her boyfriend away from her and he knows I'm not a boyfriend stealer, he knows I do not chase guys and I'm not a relationship person. my friends means anything to me especially the ones that are there for you throught life's ups and downs

That was a whole lot of filler. Straight to the point - it was his GF. When he's back, let him know what his Girlfriend was doing and the two of you will have to be more careful. Make a short password or something that you two can use when speaking to each other.

thanks, I think so too cause I know it wasn't him and his girlfriend looks like the clingy, jealous type. I will sort it out for sure =)

If there is any justice in the world, one day you'll meet a guy a fall for him only to find to your horror that he has another girl he likes to spend a lot of time with. Then you'll undertand.

i do have someone that has a lot of female friends, but I know I am number one anyhow and I trust him. I'm not a jealous person at all. if my guy slips up and cheat when I'm out but I won't stress over what ifs
