Presents! I no longer have any family so, this will be the first Christmas I've never gotten or given anything. For that matter, I don't think I got much of anything the last 3 Christmases, either. The last thing I can remember getting was a kind of tote bag on wheels from my aunt that I was supposed to use when I go shopping but, I never even took it out of the plastic bag it came it! She didn't go out and buy it, it was just something some company mailed her and she had no use for. Neither did I! When I go to the store, I get WAY more than that little bag could carry so, I'd just carry the bags home on the bus. I think she treated me to a meal at a restaurant the last two years and that was it. I was flat broke, at the time so, I couldn't afford to buy her anything!
Another thing I might have trouble getting is the Christmas spirit! I'll also be completely alone for the first time, this year so, it's just another day of the week, to me! I can't even spend it in my own house anymore thanks to my greedy evil ex-sisters!! Fucking bitches had me evicted from my house where I was born and lived my entire life so they could sell it!!! About the only Christmassy stuff I was able to get from the house was the box of family tree ornaments, some of which are now over 100 years old!
And, as my aunt died almost 2 weeks after Christmas, last year (and grandma, who this house was built for, died 2 days before Christmas 1999), as much as I try to make it so, Christmas just isn't the happy and very anticipated occasion it used to be, anymore.

In my country we eat a carp for Christmas. And there's always trouble to buy it. We even have a saying "walka jak o karpia" ( something is like a like a fight for a carp) or "kolejka jak po karpia" ( a queue is like for a carp).
