Trending & News I have.
I didn't "have to", but my mom offered.
I had to spend a couple thousand dollars out of pocket while pcsing.
On leave I was going to go to Fl and New Orleans with my friend. Then Boston with my other friend.
I only had enough money to smartly go to Fl and New Orleans, not Boston.
I was perfectly okay with that, but my mom urged me and wanted me to have fun while I was home.
My account is technically still under her so she just took the money out when I got reimbursed.
Im not ashamed for borrowing from my parents since they have access to my funds and know my paycheck.
Nope, my parents were pretty much strict that I had to earn things on my own, even though they are well off.
They did pay for my university, provided I maintained certain standard of grades.

Nah unfortunately the other way around. My father in law borrowed money and still has yet to pay it back
No. I intentionally made sure I never borrowed a dime from them even when we could have used the money early in my relationship to my future wife.
No. My parents taught me how to manage money and set me on my way lol
Speaking purely about myself and knowing how I am as a person... it would be an extremely shameful thing for me to do. I would rather live in a cardboard box than ask people for money.
My parents have done very well for themselves. So have my in-laws. Both couples are everyday millionaires. Our parents have set my husband and I up for success but they have never given us money. Like... our parents paid for our respective educations (supplemented by scholarships we got) and so we have been blessed to start out with no debt but as adults we're responsible for our life. I'm sure if we asked, our parents wouldn't hesitate to help us if we needed it, but they implemented in us the life skills so that hopefully we will never need it.
I mean, I've never asked, but they've given me money before.
I have never borrowed money from my parents.
No. And I never will.
Was never an option
