A good relationship with a child is a great experience to look forward to. Each knows much of each others thoughts and can fill in the words for the other. Each knows what to do to lift the other up when having a bad day.
The cons would be the child knows too much about what the parent is thinking when giving discipline, it is difficult to hold a secret without them figuring out. The child will learn quickly on how to get around the parent to try to do something they really want to try and do that they know is wrong; that creates challenges and more time to rethink discipline and create a lasting impact to teach right from wrong with some children who are, stubborn, bold or determined.
When they are younger they will desire to be with their parents and usually with whichever parent they can relate to the most. When they become a teenager their desire will grow stronger for independence and developing their own relationships. One of the problems for parents with a kid feeling like a twin is that they desire to be with the parent rather than develop new friends. Parents need to teach their kids to develop friendships and have a good social environment so they can develop good communication skills and learn how to interact and work well with others.
It might be cool until they're about 10 years old or something I have a son and daughter my son he's six foot seven I'm six foot one I used to be good looking and he's really good looking he's a big b u f f fireman paramedic and when I was raising him, I raised him to be better than me I wanted him to be way better than me and same with my daughter and they are both beautiful kids and they're both way better than me

Eh, I hate to be so negative, but I grew up hating looking like my biological mom. She was an addict and neglected me, I am her literal twin so it made me feel like I will become her. I donāt really want my child to look like an exact replica of me, I look unique, but I donāt really want a mini me.
No. I'd like mine to look more like their dad. Especially the hair. I'm red-haired with white skin and freckles. He's black with black hair. I don't want a black baby to have red hair and freckles. I'd prefer they have black hair like their dad.

No, absolutely not. My child is his own person, I don't want a clone of me. I want to be able to teach him the skills and provide the support that will need to grow into an individual. It would be extremely egotistical and selfish to try and mold your child into a replica
They meant like not modifying but child acquiring same mindset and thought process as you have like completely took on your characteristics the way yoh act and in some sense the way you look it's about genes
Another meā¦ crazy how 2 words made me think about so much that happened to me in my life. I wouldnāt want my kids to go through any of the things that I went through
