They pretty much know Alpha originated from a patient undergoing Cancer treatment.
With Omicron, SA are looking at HIV links, as someone with a compromised immune system becomes a rolling dice as to what new version will be produced.

When you look at the Greek alphabet, I wonder what happened to variants between Delta and Omicron? At the rate we are going, we'll need a different alphabet..

and it is a super cold that kills very few people. I am not scared by it at all. Now AIDS , was scary. No one new exactly how you got it. Toilet seats , shaking hands, sex, someone's piss, sneezing, and blood. That was scary at first. Reagan still didn't shut economy down or make religion and going to church illegal.
