Best male friend staying over. Am I wrong for asking him to get an air matress?

A close friend of mine was kicked out of his house. He's 24 and I'm 25. He's welcome to stay the week. I have a studio apartment and it's really close quarters. I asked him to get his own mattress and I'm worried of coming off rude. I do have a full size bed but I toss and turn at night and I don't want to share a bed with a guy friend that's not a big bed because in mine we'll likely touch. He's gay and I've known him 10 years I'm not worried about anything sexual it's just my comfort.

Sadly anytime I've dealt with people in that situation, they still end up in my bed 🤣 And i dont mean sexually but people legit crawl their way into your bed (sleeping head to toe) before the night ends when the couch/floor/etc end up being uncomfortable
