Should I ask him to come over?

Pretty simple. My roommate is gone for the weekend and I can't sleep without knowing I could easily get someone if I needed to. This guy who I'm majorly crushing on has come over just to cuddle and watch movies in bed and lives on the floor above me so I would ask him if he could just stay the night with me. He said if I needed anything I could always ask him but if I do I don't want to bother his roommate and would rather he just came and stayed just in case.

Would it be OK to ask and how should I ask him?

i agree with fooly, id love it to. and as for the wording, simplicity is best. or you could play the damsel in distress, and tell him youd be scared all alone and need someone to cuddle with. doesn't really matter how you word it, if he's came over before I'm sure he won't hesitate to again

i think that you should ask him to come over stay the night because your friend is away and no funny business will take place. Or you can ask him for things and eventually give him reasons to stay longer, like renting a movie and having no one to watch it with or something.

I would definitely not mention that you are scared of sleeping without someone around. That sounds kind of weird. Food sounds like a good idea. You could mention that your roommate is gone, so he can sleep there if he wants.

Well I'm not scared so much as I just don't enjoy it. Like some people don't enjoy doing laundry doesn't mean they go around wearing dirty clothes but if they can get someone else to do it they will.
