+1 y90% of what women do is to attract men, even if we're not going to sleep with him, we like to be noticed. Brothers, fathers, etc will just have to accept that fact with Sisters, daughters, etc.
Why? Men don't notice our modest personality from across the room; nothing wrong with that, it's just how attraction works.311 Reply- +1 y

It's an unpopular opinion. Too many times in my younger years I would see women wear very tight clothes that show off their butt, breast, etc and then get upset when men notice. Then I would ask, "Well... isn't that what you wanted, why get mad?" The responses I get can range from angry, to "You should dress better," passive aggressive attacks, etc. But the most ridiculous answer I would get is, "I wear them because they're comfortable, not for attention." I never believe that. Women's clothes aren't made for comfort. I don't enjoy having minimum pocket space or no pockets at all, the tightness/form fitting, the sheerness, small, etc. It's not practical. Comfortable clothes are well made, which will keep you protected and warm. I know if I fell in some of the clothes I have, it'll tear immediately and if it's just a little cold outside with a breeze, it'll go right through my clothes because it's form-fitting and light. It's so noticeable I get upset when I shop for my fiancé and the men's clothes feel real, like it's a real shirt and not some sheer piece of shit. Of course there are well-made women's clothes that aren't meant to show off your assets, but you got to go to expensive name brand stores that cater to that style.
This is probably one of the reasons why don't have many female friends, I can't vide with the hypocrisy. If I want to dress in tight uncomfortable clothes to be notice, I'll be honest about it; just understand that touching me (or any woman) without permission is a crime, but you're free to look and compliment. - +1 y
Yea some women scare me. The creep-shaming, male-villifying, manipulation, hypocrisy, dishonesty and deceitfulness are getting out of hand these days, especially on social media. The double standards and harmful narratives don't help matters much. Long story. I know too much. But overall there are good and bad people of both genders. Just generally bad differently though. I hope most women are like you. Besides, I'm all for dressing modestly. Morals and chastity are lost today.
- +1 y
I'm all for women dressing simple and not too revealing. She doesn't have to dress for whatever she thinks guys want (that's why such women might get upset — societal pressure). Like I mentioned earlier, thanks to harmful narratives. Different guys want different things. Same with girls. They can dress however they feel is comfortable. Doesn't have to be revealing. Shirtless guys are also a problem.

@asad1one1
See. Best example here in angel's comment. Passive aggressive and ready to insult someone.
Weird thing is, if a person puts a lot of effort into their apperance, why get upset if another person likes it or notice? Of course touching/stalking/insults are unacceptable, but not not every guy is like that yet they treat every man like a creep probably based on past experiences; we shouldn't make every man responsible for a few bad apples. - +1 y
who said we treat every guy like a creep? and who said the attention is negative to us? it doesn't matter if people comment or notice, my point is that that is not the purpose behind dressing a certain way and my clothes are super comfy even my booty shorts so i guess it also depends on body shape and how nice of clothes you can afford
- +1 y
@angell222
If you read my 2nd comment response, you'll understand. If you never receive negative attention ever, great! If you wear clothes for only you and to flaunt to yourself while in public (?), then I guess you're the 10%? Is that what you wanted, to be the 10%. Congratulations.
From, "mind blowing, to someone with a pea sized brain I'm sure."
And now
"Depends on body shape and how nice the clothes you can afford."
Why are you so passive aggressive? I guess this could be an immaturity issue but damn this shit is so common. - +1 y
Goes both ways. Certain men and women may or may not dress for the opposite sex depending on the time and situation. Also, this: both men and women are physically attracted to one another equally, but it's usually the women that tell lies or half-lies for some reason. Bad experiences and societal pressure I guess.
Asker+1 y@Asad1ONE1 very balanced view. Thanks.

Everyone in the comments is giving you such a hard time, it’s not that deep, I can see your protective but just don’t be douche about it, educate her on what guys see in women & let her decide what to do with that information from there…let her know you just care about her & want to give her advice, you aren’t trying to control her. & don’t control her, she’ll fight back harder. Nothing wrong with siblings caring about their siblings people
Asker+1 yGreat suggestion. Thanks.

+1 yWhat's the context? Are you inviting her to an event with a particular dress code? In that case, just mention the dress code or have it noted on the invitation.
Or are you trying to tell her how to dress and not dress on a daily basis? Then stop. There is no tactful way to tell someone they're not dressing modestly enough without annoying them - because it's none of your business. Besides, you having opinions such as your sister not dressing modestly enough can imply you look at her in a sexual way. So I suggest you perish the thought for your sake and hers.00 Replyask her to see what she is choosing to wear and then try to make other choices if its not modest enough

Asker+1 yThanks. Should I tell her what guys commented?
+1 yTell her you think her body looks especially bangable and that as her brother, you never thought it possible to get so incredibly rock hard just by looking at her. She'll cover up right away. :) And if that somehow doesn't work, pull out your engorged tool and pleasure yourself while staring at her while she saunters around the room in her inappropriate outfit.

+1 yYou DON’T! What your sister wears is absolutely NONE of your business! It literally could not be any LESS of your business! If you don’t like what your sister wears, may I suggest that you simply NEVER borrow any of her clothes! What your sister wears on her body, quite literally couldn’t be any less relevant to you or your life. You are 18-24 that’s an adult, so stop worrying about what your sister wears and focus on yourself, and your own self improvement.
20 ReplyI mean if she's wearing some skimpy bodycon thing, sure... but she can wear something strapless or to the knee.. she doesn't have to look like the girls in this picture.. that a little too modest if your'e asking someone to dress a certain way.

+1 yYou shouldn’t. None of your business how she dresses. It probably turns you on looking at her and the guilt makes you react negatively.

427 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. you can't do that. women always follow whatever is trendy and socially acceptable. If the toxic subculture tells her to dress like a whore then that's exactly what she'll do and there is nothing you can do about it.
