Why are kids lazy and want to play all the time?

Same reason why a little kid cries when they scrape their knee and yet an adult man doesn't.

Adult men don't cry when they scrape their knee because they've gotten hurt plenty of times that's nothing but for a kid they haven't gotten hurt that much probably so they have no pain to compare it to so it could very well have been there most painful experience thus far.

People aren't born having priorities just like they aren't born knowing how to walk instead they learn to have priorities and how to walk over time sometimes very slowly depending on the child and the parent.

If a kid doesn't see why they need to do something then naturally they're not going to be motivated to do it if you want the kid to wash dishes they need to know why they should be washing dishes they need to fully understand the situation if you want a kid to know why they should clean their room they should see why their room needs to be clean things like that.

People especially kids can't be expected to be motivated when they don't see a reason to be motivated.

For example in school I've always had it easy cuz I would easily Ace tests and I didn't even do homework and stuff like that I just went to school sometimes learned what I needed to learn did the tests got me and went on with my life and I think it's because of this I never did homework and I never really cared about school because I learned things I didn't really have a need and honestly I still got through high school I passed high School with minimum effort and so the only thing I've learned throughout my life involving hard work is that hard work is unnecessary if you can out think the situation which is usually easy to do.

Hon, I work with kids as well… Kids get on my nerves too but it’s pretty brainless to ask “why are kids lazy and want to play all the time?” THEY ARE KIDS! That’s what kids do. That’s what every single child does growing up. They don’t have the same responsibilities adults do, as they shouldn’t… They should be able to play and be “lazy” all they want because that is what childhood is.

Not when they are failing test and getting behind in school. Kids got to learn can't be lazy to the point that they don't do any sort of work.

You should take them to a school counselor and see if they have learning disorders. And it’s also your responsibility as a parent to teach them to do their work… They learn from models, such as their parents.

It isn't nobody's fault but their own it was my fault for failing a grade in elementary school I should of taken it serious. Not all kids have something wrong with them it is due to the being lazy trust me I know. I can tell when there is something wrong with a child. Adults can tell them but they choose to do it their way.

Also yes children don't like doing things and because they're not experienced in life they haven't really gained the experiences that tell them oh hey there's actually important things to do and I need to have priorities because children aren't just born instantly knowing priorities they gain the ability to reason and have priorities over time.
