What to do if I have nobody to go to prom with?

This is gonna be dramatic new. I always been excited for prom and I always wanted a date to go with. I was really sad because the chances of being asked is extremely low for me, but I quickly got over it. Then my mom suggested she goes with me because she never got to experience prom and I enjoy hanging out with my mom anyways. I also hardly get to especially since I don’t live with her. I found out parents aren’t allowed to go. Which I’m pretty bumped about. I didn’t expect to cry my eyes out over it though. And I can’t really go with a friend because my only true friend probably won’t go to prom or she’s gonna spend the whole time getting high, and that stuff makes me uncomfortable. I spent most of my time alone and I just wanted something to do something differently for something important to me “prom.” I guess what I’m trying to say is that I just want everything to go right but it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna go that way. is it even worth going at this point? what should i do?

This is really messed up it shouldn't be like that you need to go to your prom that is for sure my junior year a girl asked me I said okay my senior year I asked a girl and she said okay after I graduated school I had run into a friend of mine that I went to school with she was a grade behind me but I asked you what she's been doing I haven't seen her for a couple weeks I asked her who was going to take her to the prom tonight she said nobody I said what nobody. She told me nobody asked her she said she had gotten her dress too and then she told me her two friends who are my friends too Adida and Lorna they got their dresses and nobody asked them either these girls are so beautiful I I think guys just assumed that they had dates so nobody asked
I kind of look at your picture and I see the same thing going on
You cannot tell me the guys are not interested in you because I would call a bull shit on that one you definitely need to go to your prom that's all there is to it if I live there I would ask you I would take you if you wanted to go because that's just crazy you definitely need to find somebody to take you

Well, you can try hitting up any of the guys you are friends with who you know don't have a date to prom. Or any of the guys you think you might get along with, who you know don't have a date to prom. Or any of the girls, I don't know your sexuality.

And if all that seems like it just ain't no fun, go by yourself. Most of prom is just bullshit anyway, hang out, talk to people, dance, maybe go to an after prom party. You don't need anybody with you to do any of that, and maybe you'll meet somebody else there who also went alone and hit it off

Aww. I feel your pain, hon. I never went to prom myself, because I didn't want any drama. I didn't want to deal with the letdown of asking a girl that I liked in case she said no. And I didn't want to ask someone that I didn't like, because I felt like that would be using her. I also kind of didn't want to go just because I didn't know how to dance and I didn't want to make a fool out of myself.
