Why do people ask on your birthday do you feel older or different?

Maybe because their curious if you feel older physically, mentally, or emotionally since it's another year. Who knows. I feel you. Im turning 24 this year and i have been having little emotional breakdowns because im like"one year till 25" its so scary but i try to just breathe and be grateful for another year of life and live in the moment. Time needs to slow down😭
