When I had friends, they used to do something nice for me, but now that I'm alone, there's no one around to remember it anyway. When my doggie was still around, I would take him out somewhere with me to celebrate. Sometimes I would buy myself a gift, wrap it, and put his name on it. (Yeah, I'm a pathetic spirit). I miss my little Yorkie. He's gone now. I remember my last birthday, I bought a little cake, and gave him a little piece. He mostly licked the frosting. Now, I'm a forgotten soul, alone in my corner like Cinderella, lol.

I try to celebrate it a little, by doing something I was scared to do before.

Everyone celebrates differently, my ex, for example bought me gifts on his birthday.

I am still using the phone that he bought me on his 24th or 25th birthday.

Everyone’s different, people either try to make ourselves or our loved ones happy on their birthday.

I really like celebrating things so I’ve always made an effort on my birthday. I mean the little things mean everything to me so I don’t necessarily want a party. But spending time with loved ones is nice.

I had some sad birthdays because I kept thinking about everything I didn't have. I kept beating myself up because I thought that I was "late" in life. Now, I celebrate them because every birthday is a blessing. It's a reminder that I'm still alive and healthy despite of everything I went through.

I don't celebrate my birthday. For a long time I had issues seeing the point and well not thinking I was worth the effort. A friend helped me to see it was okay to for a few years then she started to completely forget about my birthday for a few years and well me so I'm now back to the not seeing the point.

I don't often remember when it even is.

Eh I hate my birthday but all of my family enjoys celebrating it especially since I have a shared birthday with 4 of my cousins and it's very close to my sister and brothers birthday as well so we celebrate them all at the same time

Then my coworkers always do something at work - usually lunch snacks and cake.
