Do you celebrate your birthday every year or do you think it’s for kids and you grown and done with it?

I celebrate mine every year I don’t care how old I am never know one year I won’t be here.

LOL, I lost interest in birthdays and holidays in general a long time ago. A month or so ago, one of the women in a group of women who won't leave me alone was having her birthday. She pulled me aside at one point asked me when my birthday is. I was evasive. She kept asking. OK, OK, I gave her the month. Nope not good enough, she wanted the exact date. She wouldn't stop. I'm thinking, this is really weird behavior, why is she so intent on knowing my birthday. She's really nice... and gorgeous. I didn't want to lie to her. I finally gave her my birth date.

LOL, now I'm living in fear that she's setting up something with that group of hers for my birthday. That would be umm... uncomfortable. I don't really know them that well. But they seem intent on changing that. And I'm not big on celebrating my birthday? I guess I'm compelled to smile and accept it as the nice gesture it is intended to be and just go along with it. I've never had anyone force a birthday celebration on me before.

I feel kind of bad for the people who don’t celebrate their birthday in even small ways. I may not throw a party every year but I do go out of my way to give myself a present, even if it’s a day I’m working. I often wonder if the people who refuse to celebrate like themselves or not. Or maybe they’re just jehovah witness, they don’t celebrate anything lol

And the hastle of partying with other people drains energy, time, and money.

I hate birthday parties in general and especially if it's mine. If you are into the double-digits with your age, you're too old for a party.
