Me or my sister-Who is Right?

We had an argument with my sister:
she said, her and her husband are very alike and she always wanted to date a guy who she wouldn't be embarrased to introduce to the family
While me and my boyfriend we are 2 opposites and I always thought that I must be honest to myself and dont adjust my interests into what my family thinks its right for me. Because I love him and everything about our relationship and im tired of my family or others tell me whats good to me. My sister is total moralfag who does "the right thing".
To the point of scolding her husband if he says some man jokes when she is not even around or tell his eating sugar is bad
