Should I be enemies with my cousins enemies?

So my cousin had a fall out with a bunch of girls. They are all cousins. One of them speaks to me everytime they see me. I never necessarily had a fall out with them but I never had na issue either. They fought multiple times. But I feel like people look at me as a punk because I speak back or whatever when they speak. We are first cousisn by the way. Don’t get me wrong if we are in a setting together bad they are about to fight I’m going to help but if they are not posing a threat is it still a punk move to say hI and bye? I know they’re not going to try anything with me. But is it wrong?

I’ve seen this situation many times. You said they are all cousins. Well if they are truly family, they will be seeing each other in the future. So it’s really better if they just squashed the drama asap. It’s not like they are strangers with no bonds. I personally wouldn’t get involved or be purposely rude to someone for another person unless it was something serious.
