Posting beach picture with little sister online?

My friend posted some pictures on Instagram where she and her sister are at the beach wearing bikinis. Her sister doesn’t look any older than 12 or 13.

I’m sure she didn’t have bad intentions in posting this, but I’m not 100% sure it’s appropriate.

Posting pics online without a person's permission is always bad. As for the age, I would think the swimsuit choice would be of much more concern than the insta post, because the people on the beach with them are far more likely to be a problem, or have a problem with it, than random online strangers who are who knows how far away.

That said, it's also wrong to assume a person's age, or that most people are creeps, so I wouldn't jump to conclusions.
