When old friends don't want to pay attention to you, is it okay to isolate yourself from them?

Ever since I finished school I have noticed that some of my closest friends want to keep me separate from them. Would it be okay if I never went out of my way to communicate with them again?

Of course it is okay.

Friendship is a two-way street and if you feel that you are doing the job all by yourself to keep this friendship working and that there is nothing done on their side, then it is perfectly okay to sever this friendship because it brings nothing positive or concrete to you.

You can slowly distance yourself from those friends and you don't even have to justify yourself if they ask why you are not talking to them anymore.

You can isolate yourself but whether this is going to bring you satisfaction of not is another issue. You have to ask yourself for the reasons and for that, you may have to communicate with them. If you don't receive a satisfactory answer, then severe the contact all together.

Yea bro there's no point too be there I'm not even friends with my day one friends any more they are fake and don't have any good intentions when all I had was good intentions for them I don't stress about friends anymore overall it's better too be alone
