How to say "i have no money" to your parents?

I feel bad if they ask for something, like stuff or food and i didn't accomplished. So i always act "i have money." Even though i didn't. I already worked n my parents is retired now.

Sit them down, and tell them that you're going through something, you're struggling, or whatever situation that you're in. Be honest and tell them that you need a little help. You could also offer to pay them back or give them some reassurance and tell them that you're already working on making more money.

Have a talk with your parents about your financial situation maybe they will understand (I am not trying to be negative just trying to knowledge that some parents may not understand but am sure they will understand) try to cut back on monthly subscriptions that you way have like netflic, prime etc you'd be surprised on how much you can save from reducing subscriptions if you have any.

If it's possible try to start something on the side to help you gain some passive income.

Yes, im working but my salary isn't much
