How do I tell my roommates they cannot use my room for the wifi router?

They all moved in so far and I haven't moved in yet but one of my roommates texted me saying they have to use my bedroom that I paid for to use e wifi router becuse its the only place in the apartment that works so they all can get good wifi. At first i was being nice and accommodating. But the more i think about it the more i dont want this. I already said if he could try another spot and he come back with some long explanation as to why he can't. Really? I am paying for my own room. I should have full access alone to it. Can I put my luggage in their bedrooms?

I dont even use the wifi. So if the excuse that it would be for me as well doesn't even work. I dont want the router in my bedroom. Why is he so pushy about it being there? He said all the other outlets are taken. Uhh what? It just pisses me off the more i think about it. I also dont know how to approach this in a way that won't be rude. I dont want to start off on a bad foot. Im also a very nice person and saying no is hard.
