How can I get my mother to be less obsessed with me?

My mom always wants us to spend time together when we are not working. She wants to go out, or watch movies or play videogames together.

She doesn't seem to have friends and has no boyfriends or dating anyone (my father died when I was young) and while she's fine with me going out with friends, she always insists that I have to make up the time to her.

She's not toxic or abusive in any way, but I feel guilty when I say no to going out with her or play videogames with her and she goes all sad and says things like "I'll guess I'll watch a movie alone," or "I wish I had someone to hang out with.".

We get along great for the most time, but she doesn't seem to understand that we can have separate things sometimes and not always be together, we are different people with different interests: she's something of a nerd and loves videogames and Marvel stuff, while I don't really care about it.

Stay busy and be outside the house. 24 are usually out on their own, right?
