Am I the only one that feels like cutting someone off for insulting my dogs?

I have three German shepherds and I love all three of them 🥰 I love having dogs so when people are disrespectful to them because I take care of them I feel like cutting them off

They’re not vicious they’re are adorable 🥰 and want to play and jump on me with lots of kisses. Sure to strangers trying to hurt me they can be but I’d never ever put a stranger in such a harmful situation I’m always there. So they would never hurt anyone so insulting them is just peoples way of just being mean and nasty

Depends on the context I guess. If someone is being rude to my dogs in a harmful way, I’m going to pay close attention to what kind of person they are
