What is the reason behind male friends being shady to their female friend?

Honestly I hope that’s not true that they like me because I don’t want us to fall apart.. but yes I do only see them as friends more than that actually see three of them as my siblings since I’m the only child they know I see them as my brothers.. they told me they see me as their sibling until me and one of my guy friends messed up and liked each other and then we broke up but he told me we are cool but now three of them just watch my Instagram stories and not contact me like they use to or they leave me on seen when I text them

Yea sorry to hear that, they clearly like you though, they're probably resentful as well, like they think you only do it to get male attention and shit, maybe it's true I wouldn't know, but that's what's going on I believe
