My slavery life for evil stepmother? Should I take revenge or forget her?

I grew up with stepmother. She was a total bitch. She had me clean my little sister's bottom. She rubbed the nappy on my face just because I didn't realize her daughter had soiled her bottom. She always made me rub her feet. One day, I thought she was asleep and I stopped rubbing, then she hit me in the face with her foot and my lips was torn. As if her own cruelty was not enough, when her sister would come, she would take my bed, made me rub her feet and tell me to sleep on the floor.

My mother and sister treated me like that too. After my uncle adopted me I went through a period where I wanted to kill both of them or at least ask them why they treated me like that for? Now I focus on things like school. I'm still dealing with the effects of what I went through emotionally. Am I still angry at how they treated me? I am but I don't want it to take over my entire life anymore.

The problem with getting any kind of worthwhile revenge is that it will probably get you thrown in jail, that makes your life even worse. I would cut her out of my life completely.

She's probably old now and I wouldn't do a damn thing for her, or help her in any way.
