How do I get my mom to apologize for calling me worthless?

My mom called me worthless because i didn't take a bath one day. This resulted in me lashing out at her. Now she's playing the victim and acting like it was my fault. How do i get her to admit her mistake?

You really don't if you have to ask her or if you have to try to manipulate her to doing something like this then it's not going to be real you need to prove yourself to yourself first and then that will be seen by her and I doubt that she will ever ever apologize but you never can tell you have to understand that sometimes parents give you tough love and they say things that they don't mean to hurt you in a way that it wakes you up enough to change you just have to find yourself don't worry about what she thinks or says as long as you know in your heart that you're doing the right thing that's all that matters if she's calling you names there's something wrong with that a parent should never ever call their kid names of any sort any kind can I ask you what is she calling you and do you know the reason why she might be calling you that

And another very very important thing is no matter what anybody saying to you are doing you have to step out of the picture and be honest with yourself no matter what it is you have to be honest with yourself could it be true are you this way are you not that way that's the most important part right there because this is not about your mom this is about you of course you want your parents to love you and treat you good but that's not always going to happen as long as you know that you are the best you can be that's all accounts because one day you will walk out of that house and be on your own and you have to know and understand who you really are and that you are the person you think you are so you have to be honest but I would still like to know what I asked in the first paragraph

You can't. When vulnerable people make a mistake you have to pretend it didn't happen and do other stuff with them. If they trust that you value them for other reasons they may come clean in a moment of clarity one day, but don't bet on it.

When she asks for a favor reject helping and say worthless people don't help, you are either going to get whooped or after enough times she might apologize

That's abusive. Does she say stuff like that to you a lot? If she's playing the victim most likely she will never apologize to you she thinks she did nothing wrong. My mother was the same way unfortunately.

What will you gain from an apology. Taking a bath is good for you. Trust me, you don't want to have skin problems. Especially in the summer.
