Why do people tell you to ask for help if there not going to?

I have people say all the time we'll why didn't you ask for help I could have helped you with the fence I could have helped you with the hooves. When it's complete bull shit the moment they are actually required to help the whine and bitch like children and keep trying to push the task off to a later date or only show up for the last 5 minutes of any task like why would I ask anyone for help because ultimately they arnt going to help anyway so what's the point

They want to make themselves feel good. They may care in the abstract, but when it comes down to it, they won't help you. They will ghost you or bring you further down. In my experience, it's rare that someone actually cares enough to help.

My fiance annoys me because I have animals to take care of who have just been relocated so there are problems that need fixed and he litterly just said I wasted my day off and told me off saying that It could be left for a later date and that I should ask for help a few hours later I had started to ask if he would help me trim the chickens wing's tomorrow so they stop flying over the fence and roosting in the apple tree but I didn't even get to finish the sentence before he threw a tantrum saying he only has 2 day's off and wants to relax the first day and we can do it Thursday ( the day I work all day so he doesn't have to do it. And I asked my cousin if he could help me set up the electric fence in the part of the Yard I can't enter because of poison ivy ( over half my family can lay in the shit and be fine but I have a pretty bad reaction to it he said I'll be out in a minute2 hour's later still is not helping so I had to do it myself and have poison ivy now. I have to do litterly everything myself even things I shouldn't do alone because everyone is to busy sitting on there ass and say I'm wasting my day off because I decided my goat needs a shelter like the fuck

No I lagit like take care of my animals and don't like the city there's to many people and I get a fulfilling feeling going out every morning collecting eggs milking the goat and what not and yah it is a lot of work but it makes me feel good to do it makes me happy I've always been simple I lived in citys half my life and heated it and I mean bigger city's I used to live in Los Angeles
