Do you have a best friend of the opposite sex?

I've already talked about my deputy, and she's the best friend I have. I remember we had met back when we were writing articles for the provincial ebdomadario (a weekly publication) and we hit it off right away. She always supported me in everything - from cowriting articles and correcting and proofreading my publications, to supporting my campaign, the first one to congratulate me on my marriage, to become my running mate during the elections, to being the first woman after my wife to hold my daughter, and the best support when my father passed on. She's always available to help me in everything and doing anything for me, and I feel thankful and extremely lucky for such a friendship.

Yeah she ended up have this huge crush on me. Known one another for about 25 years. Dont know when the crush started but she turned on me and sabotaged my last relationship (we all knew one another from grade school. She went as far as trying to convince me about not clearing my name on legal matters against false statements. Got mad because I used a message as evidence, she didn't want to get involved in legal matters between me and my ex (wonder why... jk) but if she did because of me she would make sure they determine im crazy and admit me to the ward... insane my friend became closer to my ex, her rival so to speak, appearing as a friend with caring information.

This only works when you are single and your friend is single. If either of you gets married, you will not be permitted to be friends. I have had several single female friends who were dating guys that I knew and the guys were also friends of mine. I never dated the woman. However, when they got married, the guy friend (now the husband) would ask me to not answer invitations for lunch from their wife. I guess they thought I would fuck his wife now that she was his property but when she was single and available, I didn't have any plans to fuck her so he didn't have any need to warn me to not respond to her lunch invitation.

I do have a best friend that's a guy. We met during our freshman year of college during a group project. We just had the same sense of humor and we were best friends by the end of the semester.

I lived with him and another friend after college for a few years. He's always gotten along with my partners in the past. He's been there and supported me through some stressful times. And I fully intend for him to stand up with me in my future wedding.

If you mean in the sense of having more than one best friend. I do have female best formed s and male best friends. There is no guy I do everything with though. But they are true friends and in that sense best.

I have! She was my best friend and my crush years and years ago and we lost sight after I declared my sentiments. We restored our friendship last year and we returned best friends. We share a lot of common thoughts and support a lot each other, but I’m sure now there’s no sentiments coming from any part.

It's pretty much impossile or that to happen without one or the other or both developing a crush on one another, and then if you try to act upon that you'll either get accepted or rejected. I got rejected by a very close friend one time. It sucked pretty bad I guess.

It’s very difficult albeit impossible to have a opposite gender best friend if your both straight. It requires both of you not to have any attraction to the point of jealously.

I have had only one long term platonic female friend. Known her for over 15 years. But we have recently fallen out of touch.
