LOL you don't unless you are an illegal crossing the southern boarder, Then you can take a free ride to New York and they will put you up in a 4 star hotel, give you free food, free education, free cell phone and free clothing and free transportation.
The only way would be if you had adhd or autism and join a group home I think.
Or supportive housing. Get medicaid and join supportive housing. It takes about a year and then you live with roommates for a year and they put you in independent housing by yourself. Or the group home, I guess. You make no money at all so you'll most likely qualify for medicaid.
You can't stay at any friends or family's house? Besides getting a job and moving out, the only other thing I can think of is go to college and get financial aid for housing, or get a boyfriend and sleep at his house all the time

You could always try a woman's shelter.
