Why is he distant?

My guy friend has been distant ever since he started dating and I'm choosing to the same am I wrong?

What are his and your intentions (you perceive him as boyfriend?)... Why putting the distance between one another? Guy: the girlfriend is laying the law down and he chooses her as more important. There could be enough negatives in current friend personality, as compare to girlfriend, to move away from her. The friend (Girl) could be texting, calling, and always talking in person him to death, therefore, the only available Peace is away from her and into dating arms. Someone who texts me to death, talks incessantly when in their presence, and is unable to enjoy Quiet is miserable to be around. Non-verbal communications, such as leaning on one another, holding hands, looking into another eyes is communication. If those items are happening in dating life then no guy is going to deal with a Yap/Yap Machine running all the time... don't be the Yapster.-This is good to remember when and if you date. ;-)

Friends have life outside of each other, however, are there for one another when the bottom falls out. I have assumed this position most of my life... even as a male and I have NOT the troubles you do with a guy friend. :-)

Honestly we spoke when needed not necessarily... I give him space when he's with his girlfriend I don't interrupt them whatsoever... he's the one who tells me about his girlfriend , I don't even comment or say anything negative about her... but anyway I'll back off
