What advice do you have for someone who may talk too much?

to be more mindful of others feelings. i feel so overwhelmed when people talk too much. i can't ever get a word in either. so i just tune them out and hope they go away. like, read the room... hate extroverts for this reason.

Very social and probably doesn't receive a lot attention or communication. So when they do talk it they get verbal diarrhea. Or it could be there are chatter boxes and not sure when to turn it off.

I try not to be rude but if a person talks to much and it's annoying I will slowly pretend to not listen and make an excuse to leave or exit.

Practice becoming a good conversationalist. So, listening carefully and asking pertinent questions about the things the other person is talking about. For example, if they play guitar? How long have you played? What type of songs do you play? Have you ever thought about writing your own music? What kind of guitar do you have? People LOVE to talk about themselves, and most people don't listen enough. Etc.
