At what point does a person "talk too much"?
One is running their mouths oblivious to what the other person said. Salesmen are the world’s worst. I was walking on the main drag in Waikiki and a street vendor approached me trying to sell me a tour.
”Have you ever been around the island?”
”Yeah, about 200 times. I drive a tour bus.”
He then went into his sales pitch to sell me a tour, utterly oblivious to what I had just said.
There is also the TMI (too much information) test. When a woman quoted her therapist and told me about her abortion on the first date, that was a bit much.
