How do you handle a parent that eats the kids food?

How do you handle a parent that eat the food their daughter/son has bought for themselves? Daughter/son is a young adult.

Really... are they overweight by chance? Is the food different or same. I know a lot of "share the plate" people but all the food is different in those cases. Try, look-you are grown and I am growing... I should be eating off your plate. You can stop now please. :-)

There you go. I love you since my parents ents. I’ve found some dieting plans etc…. Dinner time…go by each plate and take half the food. All the dishes etc say that food intake needs to be reduce by a third…we can get your diet off to quick start by removing half today and then a 1/3 everyday forward.

Walk up and eat the parents food. They have an issue, they can explain the moral difference here, or they can try to square up if they're feeling brave
