What if the child is hungry and wants two strawberries?

a bit too spicy for my taste. personally, my parents never introduced me to sugar and by the time i tried some at someone else's, i didn't like it at all, or so the story in my family goes. we have no sweets at home and i dont mind it one bit. unlike other kids who sometimes go crazy over their sugar rushes and cravings, i can just wait for the next meal with the adults. heck, my parents never stopped taking me with them to do the groceries, really. none of my friends are allowed to go, though, too much of a nuisance
I don't diagree with what you're saying but this is a natural fruit not a "sweet" as such. Whst peopld tend to forget is just how much sugar is in soda pop and sauces such as some Asian sseet and spicy chili sauce typically used on chicken anc at the other endbof the spectrum is the high sodium content of many sauces which well sodium is rewuired in the diet it is equally as bad or worse then dugar when ingested in excess
I've seen those signs in supermarkets, the box in front is usually filled with fruit close to its sell by date so it wouldn't even make a tiny scratch in profit. Supermarket bin tonnes of fruit so just let kids eat what they want.
@purplepoppy Just curious... what is the Welsh word for the things in the picture? ๐
Tsili. In welsh ch is more like a k as in Loch never as in church. So when we borrow a word like chili ch with ts eg Tsieina=china. You can probably guess Tsimpansรฎ
Yes , I was going to say I wouldn't let my child eat one of those because they don't look like good strawberries , homemade strawberries or something ,
and then I read further down
I hope this is fake because those aren't strawberries. They look like very hot peppers.

Yes. First of all, it teaches them manners... and consideration for others. Next, it is not always healthy for a kid to eat large quantities of some things, so restrictions SHOULD be in place. Lastly, some kids are sensitive to certain foods so obviously there have to be some limitations to their personal diets as well. (I don't think everyone should be imposed upon, however keep those foods away from that kid.)
Someone has to watch what children eat and how much.
Strawberries 🍓 seem healthy enough to eat a bowl 🥣 full of them. Why not?
It's fair when we limit what they eat because kids are becoming obese nowadays. And they need good food to stay healthy.
Itโs fair if theyโre eating a healthy diet that meets their dietary and daily caloric intake needs to say no more food. Parents have a responsibility to the health of their children. Typically the argument isnโt over an extra strawberry but over ice cream or junk food. American here and i wish more people would do this with the amount of obese kids.
Shiiiit. I thought this was about to be one of those "fruit doesn't look like that in the rest of the world" "America has too many gmos" moments 😂
No, just peppers.
So... someone has grown the strawberries or has bought them... they own them. Now they want to give them away? Their strawberries their rules. The recipients of charity and good will do not get to DEMAND.
Beggars can't be choosers.
It depends on the intention.
Healthy structure and limits teach balance.
Overly strict or shame-based control can create issues later.
The goal isnโt restriction , itโs moderation.
I guess in some ways it depends on how many children you have and how many strawberries you have. There may not be an unlimited quantity of strawberries. Or for that matter, not one, but a quantity of children
Watching what foods your kid ears along woth portion control prevents obesity
Part of growing up is learning social restraint. So this is good for the tyke.
I generally believe a parent is responsible for what their child consumes, but who am I to deny children some delicious, juicy strawberries?
those are fresaneros...
Not those bhut-ties
He needs carrot juice and broccoli juice.
😆😆😆😆😆
I think they should allow more than one.
those are weird strawberries.
that's crazyy!
Maybe there are many hungry children?
