I feel uncomfortable around my father, do you too?

My father works out of town, far away. We see each other like 4 times per month. We USED TO be so close when I was young, when he was living with us. But these past years he had to work far away. So we don't see each other often.

I'm really uncomfortable around him because his presence is so strong, like a military chief presence. He also gets mad at small things like trashcans not being empty.

Though he buys me what I want (simple things) if he got money. But still, I don't even know how to talk to him. Whenever he's around, I stay still and stay silent. My little sister is a natural though, my father enjoys talking to her. But I can't seem to carry out a conversation well. It would only end up being so awkward like silenceee afterwards and only short replies

I don't know if I'm the only who's like this. Ladies on my socmed are close to their parents, but not me. How about you?
