So I met this guy on a dating website about a year and a half ago. We got along really went on a few irl dates which I thought went well since we had a lot of chemistry. Anyways he ghosts me out of nowhere and I got over it eventually and moved on with my life. Now said guy is talking to my bestfriend. She introduced us a few days ago. I played it cool since he didn't seem to recognize me, I think. But he clearly seems to remember when I recommended adding lime to his coffee which he thought was weird and I pushed him to try it. Am I reading too much into this tho. My friend seems to like him a lot and she seems happy would I ruin stuff if I told her with my speculations that he isn't a good guy. Like I hope he doesn't do the same thing to my friend, she's pretty easily hurt but then again I don't wanna call him a bad person maybe he'll be different with my friend and we just never clicked together.

I would talk with my friend and see what his general interest in the other person is. If she seems really interested then I would let it go. He certainly will not mention it... If she has any hesitancy about his character etc then I would mention that I knew him and met him on dating site too... Sensible sounding?

because he ghosted you? i mean, that doesn't mean he'll ghost her. he just has bad communication issues. he should have just said he wasn't interested in you instead of just leaving you hanging. is there anything else he did bad besides not ever texting back again that would make him a bad guy? anyway, it's your friends problem now. i will say, that is very awkward to see a guy you dated now date your friend.

I doubt he doesn't remember you to be honest most likely he just didn't want to face the fact that you could possible ask him for an explanation. maybe would be nice to at least let your friend know that you and him used to talk

No, I say let it go. Its not like he's an ex who cheated on you. If that were the case, than Id say tell her.
