How many chances would you give a toxic person to improve before giving up on them?

I won't give them a chance in the first place..

Here's why:

1.) People don't fully change, change is quite rare.. and even if that person changes, it will take a long process.

2.) I am not their parent to teach them.

3.) It is not in my business to change anyone.

if they are going to improve it better be for themselves, that's the only way in which is going to be helpful and genuine as well

a person going through some issues and trouble, yes, they do deserve some support and help

but a truly toxic person is one that has decided not give a damned about the damage they can do to others as well as themselves

That assumes you actually recognize the behavior to be toxic and haven't been manipulated into thinking the behavior is normal or your fault

I rarely do second chances but if we’re still in the first 30 days then I may. After those 30 days expire, everything goes out the window. Plus, how toxic are we talkin... like i dont wanna intentionally stay with someone toxic

In my first relationship I was kind of inexperienced in the whole "dating" thing so I gave him more than I should have.

Would I do so for relationships in the future? Nah. You show me you're a piece of shit the first time and that's it, no more chances.
