Ever lost touch with an entire social group of people and not entirely sure why?

i had meet this group of girls , they worked at my local pub as servers. there was 3 main girl and a couple girlfriend's who hung out there but didn't work there. but weird around labour day they all entirely disappeared.

my understanding was they went back to school , one had 1 year left of university and another was taking a nursing program. but still seems odd to not of seen anything of them since. i've been back to that pub a few times and none of them ever there anymore. not even sure if any of them still work there or even planning on returning at some point.

it seems so weird cause they used to always be there and pretty sure the one doing the nursing was planning to still work weekends but she's never been there since the end of summer either or at least not seen her.

had talked to them outside of work before , we didn't just talk when they were working there , had seen them at other places a few times

i just don't know what to make of this and if this is the end or if they plan to return at some point

kind of have some therories why but not entirely sure , they seemed to be annoyed i liked 1 of the 3 of them more and talked to her more. and that seemed to create tension. but seems odd to have lost touch with all of them rate around the same time , if was like they just disappeared after that date entirely but they weren't really honest with me about many things so the reason for this isn't exactly clear and they might never tell me even if i see them again
