If you been back stabbed and lied to a lot then yes it’s normal to have trouble trusting , why it’s hard for me to fully commit to a girl these days , I hold walls up to protect myself from being back stabbed , pretty much all the girl’s I been with were back stabbers and liars , and beyond selfish , so I don’t jump into relationships , I take things slow to protect myself , I realize most people are selfish and only really care about themselves, so if a girl isn’t compromising with me and doesn’t make me feel wanted then I don’t waste my time with her , I can’t treat a girl like a Queen if she isn’t treating me like a King , it’s always great in the beginning when we meet someone new but in time the fire starts to burn out and people tend to think grass is greener on the other side , They act like the world revolves around them and start comparing their lives to others , If a girl can’t be content with me then she won’t last with me

Yeah, if your family is full of a-holes & your friends have betrayed you it's totally normal.

It's normal to be cautious about WHO you trust and wise to protect your mind and soul from those who have proven to be untrustworthy.

That being said, there ARE people who are trustworthy that live with integrity and have good intentions towards other people.

Imagine if there was no one in the world who trusted anyone or anyone you could trust. That would be a sad place.

Despite the amount of times I have been betrayed in my life I still choose to be that person who people can trust everyday.

It's a rewarding feeling to know that you are a person people can depend on in times of need.

Also, it may seem at times that there is no one who you can trust--I have been there many times and it's a horrible lonely feeling.

Evaluating the quality of people around you can change your life even if that means having to spend time on your own until you find that person or tribe.

I don't know. If you've been betrayed all your life or had a terrible Past Experience then I would say it would be a normal response not to trust anybody. If however, you have enough evidence people aren't going to betray you and you still can't trust them then you might need some help. People will show who they really are over time.
