Do you think some people are too old to change their ways?

I know a few men who hears what people say but they just don't listen. Do they feel they do not need to change or are the too old? Same for some woman who believe they are always right and have no flaws. Is it just an excuse to say i won't change?

Yup. Just too old. I know my parents are to tell the truth about who i want to be because they'll blow a gasket. And they're "Christian"

I mean... maybe my dad is just too old while my mom is stubborn af to the point she'll die in this house alone

I believe elderly people tend to be set in their beliefs. However, I I believe they will change if there is a good enough reason.

I am guessing at 35 you will have some lived reality that form your worldview and your kids will say she's so set in her ways etc... ;-)

Some people are narsisitic and other times people are right to not listen to someone. That depends on the situation.

You know what? People can change through Jesus. But they HAVE to want it and reach out to him. It is called free will. Many people can't change on their own though. They can sometimes mask it for a while but it usually will come back out later down the road

Yes indeed. Part of it is stubbornness and part of it (much later in life) is just not having the willingness to shake the equilibrium of a stable going.

It’s more experience that has cemented certain ideas after years of confirmation of a particular perspective. If they’re wise and presented with evidence…they’ll adjust. Just taking someone’s word for it is not likely to produce different results.
