A coworker didn't invite me to a baby shower and I was hurt. Is also wrong to question why I wasn't invited?

Let's say I have a female coworker that had a baby shower. She invited everyone except me. I was hurt. I understand that to attend a party that I was not invited to would be wrong and a direct invasion of her privacy.

Is it also wrong and invasion of her privacy to question my coworker as to why I was not invited?

Is it worth it to say a word to her about the party or to keep my mouth shut, my hands off the table, and move on? This is in general.

This is just a general and hypothetical question. Females can not be invited too.

That happened to me once, except it was for an engagement party. All of my coworkers were invited except for me. I was working front desk on a super slow Sunday with one of the girls who got invited. Every other coworker who was invited (this is a small mom and pop facility so it was like 5 other girls) came to meet up and get ready. I just say there and pretended to read while they did their makeup and changed. I was really, really upset about it but I kept it to myself, and you should too. Even though it’s mean to exclude you, she has her reason for doing so. Maybe you aren’t friends in the way you thought, who knows, but she has the right not to include you and you can’t make it so personal by calling her out. Now you know where you and her stand, so let it go and move on.

I’m sorry you weren’t invited. She could be overwhelmed and forgot. Pregnancy is a lot of stress and it also literally makes you dumb lol. I was constantly getting things mixed up and forgetting things when I was pregnant. Even left the house with no shoes on once. Their have been brain scans to show that you have more dark matter in the brain while pregnant. If she only invited a few people I would say it was on purpose but since it was only you I am wondering if this was an accident.
