+1 yI would take 30 million dollars. 30 million loyal friends is too much, because I feel responsibility to be loyal back to them. I prefer the number of loyal friends I have, plus or minus a few as I meet new friends or old ones drift away or die or whatever.
30 million dollars is much better. I could buy a nice home here locally and still have a couple million left over for living life and enjoying the planet and people on it.

+1 yAs I have a choice, I choose neither.
I'm not rich nor am I poor. I've done very well to have what I have today.
I wouldn't want to be given 30 million dollars as I've not earnt it myself. I'd get no joy nor satisfaction by just being given that amount.
Neither do I want 30 million friends. My life is suitably balanced right now.
Give it to those in need instead. Those who don't have a roof over their head, have no food, water or the basics in life we all take for granted. Those that are need just a want a chance. So let them have either.
Either choice will make a difference to someone's life. Knowing that is far more valuable than what's being offered here.31 Reply- +1 y
Thank you for MHO :-)
I don't think it would be possible to have 30 million loyal friends lol. Unless you mean followers like you are going to have a revolution and take over the country lol. Or 30 million loyal customers who watch my social media posts so I make a lot of money on ads or something like that. If you really mean friends, like I have to try to have dinner with each of them every two months and text them every week to maintain the friendship that is just not possible so I would take the cash.

No I don't really mean those friends you need to give your time to
- 607 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic.
+1 yDefinitely the money. I rather have one or two close knit friends that like me for me, and a bunch of money... over lots of friends.
Loyal or not, how do you if know 30 million "friends" really like you, care for you, will be there for you, and are sincere?
Not to mention how would you make time for all these friends?
I'll take my millions, thanks. Whoever said money can't buy happiness? Lies. They went about it the wrong way.10 Reply

+1 yI feel you can pull some trickery here. I would easily pick 30 million loyal friends. I would tell these loyal friends what I gave up to have them all in my life. I would tell them I don't regret my decision in the slightest but I would ask them if the understand how much that really was. And then I would say if I could just have 1dollar from each of you I will invest half of it and pay them all back very shortly. If anyone is going without anything because they gave up 1 dollar to come see me and I would give them 1 dollar back. Boom.
10 ReplyThe money and unlike you I wouldn't use my friends. 30 million loyal friends and the reason you want them is to use them, that's not friendship is it now?
65 Reply- +1 y
That's not using and yeah this is not going to happen in real life anyways, this is actually like a survey. You just want support from them and you give them that in return, that's not using.

A real loyal friend wouldnāt mind you asking. You could use a loyal friend, dude.

If a real friend of yours isnāt worth one dollar to you then it really shows how much you value human beings who respect you. If one of my closest friends is an author Iād consider having a look at it. When a close friend of mine is working somewhere Iād definitely consider supporting them. Friends help each other.
It really isnāt so much of āusing friendsā itās more of giving yourself permission to ask for support from friends when you want or need it. Friends are there for you when you need them. I find it weird that needs to be said. Your ignorance doesnāt surprise me that one of your friends has proven that to you.
Iām done sharing.
+1 yI don't need so many friends. I already have friends that I love and that have proved that they are loyal and there for me.
I'll get the money and I'll spend a lot of them for my lovely friends ;)

+1 y30 million dollars.
I don't have time for a dozen people, let alone 30 million, and I don't think there are 30 million people on the planet that are similar enough to me to even have that option.42 Reply- +1 y
In regards to the update:
I know you think it's a trick question, but I'm aware of that option, I just chose not to use it for practical reasons.
I prefer to work alone or with an SO, being the boss of 30 million people sounds like a nightmare, I don't want to owe 30 million people for their investment, I don't want to pay 30 million workers, and I have no interest in fame or a horde of admirers/emotional support, I don't even like parties because it's way too many people.

I understand that
2.3K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Well I will choose 30 million dollars.
Loyal friends and good people are really hard to find in today's world.
43 Reply- +1 y
You don't need to find them, you will get them.
- +1 y
I mean yeah this is a fictional question with fictional option where you will get the option you choose.
I could never be a good friend to 300 friends, let alone 30 million, so that wouldn't be friendship. They'd be my fans. I'd choose $30 million easily since I could actually reciprocate everything good friends and family have done for me, and I could help other people along the way. Wanting 30 million friends is incredibly selfish, while 30 millon dollars can be selfish OR selfless, depending on how you use the money.
20 Reply791 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. I have friends, but only one completely loyal, dedicated friend - my wife.
We are retirement age, so I'd take the $$$ and use it to insure that my wife and I are happy and not have to worry about money for the rest of our lives.
I'd also take care of a few people, my sister in particular.20 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. There's no way you could keep up with 30 million people as a friend. Therefore I'd choose the money.

The question about keeping in touch with them doesn't arises
502 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. It is literally impossible to have 30M close friends or even 1% of that. Having 30 close friends is far more than most people have or could maintain.

They are loyal forever and it's not like I'm just gonna use them. I will return them the support as well. But that's not the main point of the question.
+1 y30 million dollars, I'm not a very sociable person. I could probably befriend a handful of people but beyond that, we would be acquaintance and not friends. I'm fine with that loyalty coming from my family and very close friends.

30,000,000 loyal friends. $30M sounds like a lot, but if the economy collapses or war comes, 30,000,000 loyal friends will be far more valuable.

I'm very reserved and socializing drains my energy. The thought of having so many connections exhausts me lol
Tops I can handle is like 4 total friends 😂
10 Reply That's a tricky question. A friend is worth more than a dollar. On the other hand what would you do with 30 million friends? You'd never have time to say hi to them all.
22 Reply- +1 y
Let's just say that there are 54 hours in a day now, so yeah it's possible. Well that's not the point, it's all about why do you think the option you chose is more effective.

+1 y30 millions dollars.
I just do not have the time to cultivate 30 million "loyal" friends. And people who befriend me after they know I have the money aren't really my friends. At least with the money- perhaps $18M after taxes- I could update our house a bit, hire some help to maintain it, and donate to worthy causes. After I started a few businesses to maintain an income stream, that is!

+1 y30 million dollars. I could NEVER keep up with that many people. Even if they were good friends I couldnāt be a good friend to them.
30 ReplyThat's impossible you can't have 3000000 million Loyal friends so it's theoretically impossible.
But if I could choose 100 loyal friends or thirty million dollars I'd flip a coin.
I already got 10 people and animals I'm "devoted" to 30 million could take us far.00 Reply30 million dollars. Not only are 30 millions friends way too much to handle/deal with, but I'm already fairly content with my social life.

$30 million, because anything more than 20 people are not friends; they're fans at best, and strangers who want money from you, at worst.
20 Reply30 million dollars is my choice. I could MUCH good with it. As well,

20 Reply533 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. 30 million loyal friends who give me $2 each to go towards a foundation/company I'm starting, I guess. But I don't really think "30 million loyal friends" is possible.
00 Reply568 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. I'd choose the money. Because loyalty wouldn't imply that they'll comply or even be generous. Plus, this way I could make good friends on my own & give to them rather than taking.
