What do you think about men that have over 6+ children?

I give you the family photo as it stands now. She has twins coming on the way. Poll Question: Given the finite resources on this planet and cost of living, do you find it irresponsible of some men to pump out a lot of kids?

That is a small family, in my family (extended) 10 to 12 kids is the normal. One uncle even has 18 or 20 kids, I'm really not sure how many he has.

The one thing is though, no one has kids they can't afford to take care of. Many are small business owners and have never used government assistance like housing or snap, Medicaid, etc...

Which means they are all productive members of society.

The family doesn't believe in any kind of assistance, if you can't afford your kids... don't have them.

Like everything else in life, plan ahead and only have what you can afford.

It is however their life choices, and many in Gen Z are choosing not to have kids in the US. I think it can depend on your country though, those countries that have over a billion people, probably shouldn't have large families but ones where population is fine or dropping, no issues.

One cannot simply take the entire planets population and say it is over populated, it is more reasonable to take specific area's, countries, etc... and say this part is over populated.

Where I live, state with low population, county with low population and town with less than 200 people. I can't say that is over populated right here by any means.

It’s their choice to have several kids. I’ve heard of couples trying until they get a boy or a girl after having nothing but the opposite of what they want. If you can support that many kids go for it. I personally don’t like kids so if I met a dude that wanted a large family I’d dip out really quick

I think it's great if he can do that and support them all on their own. If they can't and they expect the govt to do so, that's pathetic. Fairly normal in times past to have that many kids.

It's somewhat irresponsible to have that many kids with the planet at 8 billion humans. But is ok if only a few do that. I much prefer people adopt more of the lost kids so we have no kids in foster car or unadopted or being murdered by their mothers.

If they have TONS of money 👍, because that means they are able to give all their children a Great chance in having a successful and prosperous future through a good and expensive education. But if those type of man do possess such ability, they are selfish and self oriented scumbags who deserve their balls cut off.

I think so long as you take care of them well it's fine, I know a home schooling family and they have twelve children they're all very happy and healthy. The elder children help their mother take care of the little ones so it's not all on her.

Well I don't intend to have any. So 6 kids of his family could be seen as 3 for him and 3 for me. Also my mom is one kid in 5. Out of those 5, there were a total of 6 kids, two were adopted. So 4 kids total were born with 5 married couples. Of those my sister and I don't intend to have sex my kids.

People who pump out kids like rabbits are selfish.  Basically using their kids to garner attention or make themselves feel special. It should be considered a form of hoarding or addiction.

It was a lot more common when I was growing up but if he can support them I don't have a problem with it. I have a problem with a welfare system that rewards people to have more illegitimate kids.

It seems that they made a mutual decision to have all those kids. They probably can afford (in all sense of the word) to live with their choice. So, who are we to judge them negatively?

I think if someone has wanted a lot of kids it’s ok. But then if you’re going to have this many please be ready for the responsibility. Don’t be someone who has 3 or more kids plus on accident and then complains about it. Take your time and make sure you can handle it. If you don’t want more there are ways to prevent it. And I know a vasectomy Or birth control or such may not be always the cheapest options but I’m sure it’s cheaper then raising a kid for 18+ years

A lot of those families turn out to be freaks who abuse their kids. Or they are Mormons, which of course means they are super freaks.

I know a couple who have ten children and now 36 grandchildren. I think it’s a bit sad. Attention gets a bit reduced individually.

I used to live in Utah. Six plus was the norm. I think nothing of it. Besides, more hands equal less work.

Some of them kids are gonna end up "fucked up.". It's just a mathematical reality. You can only supervise so many children effectively.
