My parents treated me horribly, how can I make them suffer?

I used to want to get revenge on my mother and sister, it's not worth it holding onto that just gives them all the power. I'm angry at both of them but I don't want revenge it's too emotionally draining. Better to focus on how you can get better and let it go you can still be angry but don't let it consume you.
