Do most most men prefer having sons over daughters?

Nope! I love having both. They are different, but I don't have a preference.

I have a good friend who has four daughters. He doesn't wish he had sons or have any preference like that. (Other than the fact that shampoo and conditioner are delivered to his house in 55 gallon drums...)

I never wanted sons; just one daughter.

However, I never had kids.

I come here and it's like all you young women are like daughters to me.
I get to give advice and help to you just as if I was your father or grandfather.
That helps appease that unfulfilled instinct in me.

I don't know about "most men," but I know quite a few who do. They claim boys are much easier to raise than girls. That and they can do traditional man things with sons.

I can’t say I speak for most men but in my opinion both have their upsides and down sides.


Having a boy means that we’d probably have a better understanding of each other as theirs some things only men would understand.


Having a girl is also great because they are cuter.


I’m the end it doesn’t matter because a proper man would love and cherish his children no matter if they are boy or girl.

I would've been fine with either a girl or boy, or both. I have one daughter and she is the apple of my eye!

I don't know about most. Sure, plenty of men want sons but many of us are fine being girl dads.
